Dealing responsibly with our employees, customers, and suppliers as well as with natural resources has been firmly anchored in our company operations for generations. In our opinion, economic success can only be sustainable if we also assume responsibility for the social and ecological impact of our company operations. The framework for our sustainability work is provided by the BayWa Sustainability Strategy 2030.
BayWa Sustainability Report 2021 published
BayWa AG has further developed its sustainability strategy and sets itself further ambitions. The Sustainability Report for the financial year 2021 documents the new strategic framework and provides information on key figures, objectives and measures of sustainability activities as well as on Sustainable Finance.
BayWa is "Sustainability & Climate Leader"
The United Nations and Bloomberg have selected BayWa as one of "50 Sustainability and Climate Leaders" worldwide for its activities in sustainability and climate protection. A film takes a look at how BayWa, as a traditional conglomerate in the agriculture, energy and building materials segment, is driving the industry forward through sustainable innovation.
Participant in the United Nations Global Compact
BayWa AG now participates in the United Nations (UN) Global Compact. The company commits to upholding and promoting the iniative's ten principles in the area of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption.
Above average in Europe: BayWa AG receives B rating from international Carbon Disclosure Project
The international non-profit organisation Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) has awarded BayWa AG a climate rating of B for 2021 for its coordinated measures in response to environmental and climate action issues.
