Chief Restructuring Officer
Michael Baur has been a member of the Board of Management of BayWa AG since November 2024 and is responsible for the development and implementation of all restructuring measures. He is also responsible for the areas of Corporate M&A, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Legal, as well as the Building Materials and Agricultural Equipment business units and the shareholdings of BayWa AG.
The business graduate has been responsible for numerous profit improvement programs and complex restructurings over the past 25 years, both as a manager and as a consultant. Among other things, Michael Baur led the successful restructuring of the Benteler Group as CRO and member of the Board of Management between 2021 and 2023.
