After the first nine months of the current financial year, the BayWa Group reported an increase in revenues of 2.3% compared to the same period in the previous year to €12.5 billion (Q1–3/2018: €12.2 billion). Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) increased from €28.3 million in the previous year to €77.3 million as at 30 September 2019. This improvement in earnings was carried by all three core operating segments.

Consolidated revenues increased by 1.7% year on year to approximately €8.4 billion after six months of the current financial year. Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) improved by €20.1 million to a total of €52.2 million. Earnings in the Agriculture and Building Materials Segments remained on par with the previous year, whereas the Energy Segment was able to generate significant growth.

The revenues of BayWa AG, an international trading and services group, grew 3.6 percent to EUR 16.6 billion in the financial year 2018. Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) also increased in comparison with 2017, rising 0.6 percent to EUR 172.4 million. With growth in the results of all three of its core segments, the Group achieved its annual targets and was well able to compensate for the positive one-off effects of the previous year, including the sale of the BayWa Headquarters. The Agriculture Segment in particular lifted its result considerably despite the severe summer drought.
