Franchise partners are positioned in the German market under the "BayWa" family brand and are supported by our subsidiary BHSS. AFS provides services to our franchise partners in Austria under family brand of "Unser Lagerhaus", and IFS offers franchise agreements in Italy under the brand name of "tuttoGIARDINO".
Our concepts are tried and tested in practice and successfully implemented across the whole range of large, medium and small stores. Our franchisees are equipped with BayWa manuals which gives them vital support in the practically oriented and successful implementation of the franchise concept. Our BayWa franchisees can choose between different types of stores which vary as to their size, location, product mix and service range. Stores with a surface area of between 250 and 12,000 square meters are available for the DIY and garden centre business and the building materials trade. The "compact" store type, with its focus on small surface areas and specialised lines of business, is unique to BayWa. The concept ensures the local supply in regional and rural environments. The product mix is customised to suit the geographical location and the needs of customers in the region and is structured on a modular basis.
